Career Development: What's new in OKCIS?

Your students know they should do something after high school, but what? How can you help them decide their path? Expose them to career paths they may not have considered before?

We've got a great tool for you to use in this adventure: Oklahoma Career Information Systems or OKCIS. OK CareerTech has been supporting OKCIS for the past 10 years and the 2014-2015 school year is no different. Each year, there are new updates, new assessments, new ways of helping your students. This year you will see:
  •  A new portfolio face
  • Graphical changes in Reality Check, Career Cluster Inventory, the Interest Profiler and IDEAS
  • You will find in-depth planning tools in the new Personal Learning Plans feature
  •  User friendly changes in the Administration tools
  • Content changes in the Occupations section- providing a clearer picture of jobs
Not excited about change? New to the system? We can help... fall OKCIS training is available. Access the calendar for Fall 2014 OKCIS Training now to sign up!
